Sorry its been so long!

It has been a while since i last posted and i apologize. Life has been very busy and this was not at the top of the priority list.

We will try to be more consistent in posting from here on out. Not promising how much, but we want to try. And we'll do our best to keep the posts interesting with pictures! (who doesn't like pictures? :)

Friday the 13th proved to be a day of "good luck" for us! :) We got word from Dr. Jemsek's office that Lynnelle was medically cleared for treatment! This was some of the best news we had received in a while.  Dr. Jemsek  wanted Lynnelle to have a full cardio work up, among other things, before he would start treatment.  Now we are waiting for a call to set up a Port surgery date.

Sunday the 22nd we made a run to the Emergency Room with Lynnelle.  The pills that she'd taken made her feel pretty sick, so we went in monitoring. While we were there, they gave her fluids.

here she is freezing cold waiting on the Dr. to come in.

and her huge hood can be turned around for a light shield under harsh hospital lights.

We got Dr. Milligan which brightened the evening for  mom. She works with him sometimes in the Ped's office. He seemed to have fun trying to get her to be Lynnelles nurse. We were impressed by how fast we were out of the hospital. It was a record time as of now. :) 2.5 hrs later we were walking out, and Lynnelle had instructions to take it easy for 2 days.

Monday we had the last day of Physical Therapy. It was an evaluation, and not actual therapy, so that was nice. While Lynnelle is still very weak, she did make some progress in leg strength. That was encouraging.

With the start of IV antibiotics Lynnelle will likely get much worse. So prayers are still needed! She does also enjoy getting cards and flowers. Family pictures are nice so she can see faces of you even if she doesn't know you. :)

Thank you so much for all the prayers, financial and emotional support! We really do need it and appreciate it!
